Large Die Geometry Measuring System
The LDGMS is a measuring system for drawing dies with an inner diameter larger than 16mm. What is measured:
-Diameter
-Roundness
-Reduction angle
-Bearing length
The software can be expanded with a module for measuring shaped dies.
The measurement is carried out optically without contact using image processing. Furthermore, the measurement is fully automatic and software-controlled.
The mechanical design was specially adapted to the large dimensions and weight of the drawing dies.
The mechanical design allows the use of different measuring optics. Drawing dies with an inner diameter of up to 50mm can be measured as standard. Larger diameters can be measured upon request.
